Аннотация
Статья посвящена роли выставок-блокбастеров в работе музея. Рассмотрены их основные черты, история появления первой выставки-блокбастера «Сокровища Тутанхамона», проведенной в музее Метрополитен Томасом Ховингом. На примере российского опыта Третьяковской галереи, Центрального выставочного зала «Манеж», Севкабель порта проанализирован современный подход к созданию нового типа выставок.
