«ПОРТРЕТ ДВОРЯНИНА» ИЗ НАЦИОНАЛЬНОГО МУЗЕЯ В СТОКГОЛЬМЕ. ОБ ИНСКРИПЦИИ В МИНИАТЮРЕ
Аннотация
В статье на примере «Портрета дворянина» из Национального музея Швеции в Стокгольме исследуются прагматические аспекты инскрипции в портретной миниатюре. Малоизученное знатоками английского искусства произведение работы Николаса Хиллиарда до сих пор оставляет большое число вопросов относительно личности модели, значения надписи, помещенной в портрет, а также обстоятельств дополнения портрета несвойственной англичанам рамкой и религиозным изображением. В статье поставлена цель привлечь внимание к физическим свойствам миниатюрного портрета, исследовать эстетическое единство инскрипции и изображения, установить контекстные связи миниатюры с культурными процессами эпохи. Среди таких контекстов оказывается символика дара, особенно значимая для рассматриваемого примера, а также соотношение светского и сакрального образов. Предпринята попытка поиска источников, указывающих на происхождение миниатюры и ее рамки, что приводит к открытию неожиданных параллелей с декоративно-прикладным искусством за пределами Англии. Значение инскрипций рассматривается в статье и с позиций риторики, а также саморепрезентации модели, свойственной концепции позднеренессансного портрета. Эмблематическая роль инскрипций, представленная в исследовании, дает большие возможности для их интерпретации в миниатюрах елизаветинского времени.
